20 Good Summers offers charming suites located on a stunning off-the-grid farm in The Crags, Plettenberg Bay, in the heart of the Plett wine region. We grow our own veggies and have bee hives. Take a walk to the babbling river on our property or enjoy one of the many farm experiences on offer. Accommodation comprises 4 individually decorated suites. The Almond and Shiraz Suites have the ability to be interleading rooms if booked together, for friends or families travelling together. Each suite features an en-suite bathroom and contains a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, free Wi-Fi, and a patio with outdoor furniture and stunning farm views to admire. BBQ/braai facilities can be arranged. Local wines from the surrounding wine farms can be supplied for your account if requested – we will purchase and stock your rooms. Braai packs, breakfast and dinners can be arranged and are prepared with local, fresh, organic produce (most of it grown within 5 km), and may be booked in advance. Delicious pizza evenings can be booked in advance - we do fresh wood-fired pizzas in our large pizza oven. The water in the taps is rainwater or spring water so drinkable, gorgeous, and clean. Guests are free to explore the farm during their visit. There are sheep, pigs and chickens for the kids to feed. 20 Good Summers is also ideally situated 8.5 km from Elephant Sanctuary Plettenberg Bay, 8 5 km from Birds of Eden and Monkeyland, and 20 km from Keurbooms Beach.
Area Info
Perched amongst the idyllic greenery of the Garden Route, just outside the seaside town of Plettenberg Bay and the village of Nature's Valley, is The Crags. This is a gorgeous area that offers plenty of attractions and activities.
The Crags stands out as a place that offers a stunning variety of wildlife that can be enjoyed, particularly at the many sanctuaries. Birds of Eden is a sanctuary home to around 3,500 birds and around 200 species. These birds fly freely in the world's largest single-dome free-flight aviary. Monkeyland, next door to Birds of Eden, provides an authentic forest habitat for rescued primates. These include exotic lemurs, gibbons and spider monkeys. The Jukani Wildlife Sanctuary is a place of safety for many wild cats (including lions, black leopards, jaguars and pumas), and many other exciting species. Other wildlife attractions in and around The Crags include the elephant sanctuary, Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre, and the Lawnwood Snake Sanctuary.
