A Garden Suite

A Garden Suite is a lovely, affordable family run B&B in the lush, northern suburb of Athlone, Pietermaritzburg. Our rooms are tastefully furnished with lovely cottage pieces and comfy beds, duvets and throws. Please note that at present we only offer a packed breakfast.

We are 1 minute from Grey’s Hospital.

We are 7 minutes from the City Hall/centre of town.

We are close to a number of private schools with easy access from the highway.

We are 20 Minutes from Midman Dam and 15 minutes from Hilton and the start of the Midlands Meander.

We have two lovely parks nearby for walks and picnics.

We are two minutes from Victoria Shopping Centre which has a upmarket supermarkets and 5 minutes from Cascades Shopping Centre with some lovely restaurant options. Fit 24 and Virgin Active Gyms are nearby.

We have a number of lovely restaurants in our area.

The West Wing

The West Wing is a standard room which has a varandah with private entrance.It has a "nook" with "light" catering facilities.This room is suitable for 2 adults and can sleep 2 children under 10 on mattresses, but then you lose the kitchen. B/fast extra.

This 'French Styled" room can accommodate 2 singles or a couple on King Size bed. It is not a large room, but with it's modern en-suite is perfect if you are needing a lovely place to spend the night.

The Garden Snug

The "Snug" is nestled in the garden, separate from the main house. It is a small, comfy room situated on two levels and consists of two single beds. It has an en-suite bathroom with shower as well as a "kitchenette". This room is not suitable for couples.
