Area Info
The Dinokeng Game Reserve is the first free-roaming Big 5 game reserve in Gauteng, next to an urbanized area. It is a private/public initiative, therefore not all properties within the boundaries of the reserve form part of the reserve. There is a designated self-drive route for which permits must be acquired either from the reserve's gates/office, or at the entrance to the self-drive route itself, and a comprehensive map of the almost 125km route will be provided upon permit purchase.NO dogs are allowed inside the reserve.
