Asamé Guesthouse
Asamè @ Oppi-Rivier is set on the banks of the Vaal River, in the quaint town of Christiana and offers guests a tranquil and relaxing getaway. Accommodation is provided in 4 units or a free-standing caravan. Three units feature kitchenettes equipped for basic self-catering with aircons. The 4th unit only offers a bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities and no aircon. The caravan is suitable for 4 guests only but guests are welcome to bring along a tent to accommodate 4 extra guests at an additional cost.
Area Info
Christiana is a town situated in the Bophirima region of the North West Province in South Africa. It was established in 1870 after the discovery of diamonds in the area. The Transvaal Government set up this town to ensure ownership of the diamond digging sites. The town is named after the only daughter of President Andries Pretorius, Christiana Meyer.
Christiana is not only a very popular tourist destination, but also one of the principal town’s in the area. The tranquil setting, blue horizon and lush surroundings make this town the perfect getaway destination for tourists visiting the North West Province.
