Nestled amidst 400 hectares of indigenous fauna and flora, just 20 minutes from the bustling city of Pietermaritzburg, Barnside is a true hidden gem. Guests will revel in the feeling of being alone in the heart of the African bush, far away from the noise of the modern world. Passing through the gates, the old railway bridge stands tall, seemingly welcoming you into a different time and space. The spacious house comprises 5 bedrooms and a 2 bed loft all furnished with comfortable king-size beds. Three of the luxury rooms are full en-suite with the other two bedrooms sharing a family full modern bathroom. The lovely, modern kitchen is fully equipped with both gas and electric stoves, fridge, microwave as well as tea and coffee facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the informal kitchen dining table or at the more formal dining room area. Guests can relax in one of the lovely lounge areas which offers TVs, fireplaces and comfortable seating. A super entertainment area offers large windows, big comfortable couches, a pool table and offers magnificent views of the surroundings.
