Stellenbosch is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, situated about 50 kilometres (31 miles) east of Cape Town, along the banks of the Eerste River at the foot of Stellenbosch Mountain. The town became known as the City of Oaks or Eikestad in Afrikaans and Dutch due to the large number of oak trees that were planted by its founder, Simon van der Stel, to grace the streets and homesteads. The suburb of Die Boord is a safe residential area, where residents walk and jog freely.

Pierrot room is a north-facing room with lovely afternoon sun and plenty of natural light. The stylish room in black and grey with a touch of red is a favourite of many guests. Located on the ground level with French doors opening onto the shared patio.

Out of Africa is on the first floor with an intimate balcony overlooking the pool and garden. The room brings the rich traditional colours of Africa to life. It is advised that clients with a sensitivity towards animal hides should book a different room.
