Battiss Guest House

This legendary house was originally designed in 1939 by Norman Eaton for world-famous South African artist Walter Battiss. Rescued from demolition, the house was renovated in the 1980s and underwent further renovations during 2020. At Battiss Guest House we pride ourselves on our hospitality and make our guests feel at home away from home. We would like to make your experience with us as relaxing as possible and are excited to host you as our guest. The guest house management and staff are fully dedicated to making your stay easy and comfortable, offering the natural and peaceful surroundings of Fook Island as an escape from the fast pace of everyday life. The Guest House offers comfortable guest rooms, each fitted with a queen-size or a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom. Your stay includes a scrumptious breakfast prepared by qualified chef and co owner, Vincent de Villiers. We also prepare dinner upon request.
