Beside Still Waters

Beside Still Waters was successfully taken off the grid with the installation of solar power, thus the lights always stay on. In the unusual event of an emergency, we can supplement our electricity supply with a generator. We request our guests to support us in our strive to be an environmentally friendly establishment. We try leaving a lighter footprint on our planet through solar power, recycling, composting and water conservation.

Lying in the foothills of the Outeniqua Mountains in a region of incomparable beauty, Wilderness is an attractive holiday destination with beautiful beaches and numerous vantage points from which to watch the whales and dolphins. Visitors can enjoy activities such as forest walks, hiking, bird watching and mountain biking, to name but a few.
