Call of the Fish Eagle is a double-story, private self-catering holiday home in Marloth Park (next to Kruger National Park). The house is bordering parkland and receives plenty of visits from free-roaming Park animals, for example, blue wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, impala, and ample birdlife. This self-catering holiday home is 21km from the Crocodile bridge access gate to the Kruger National Park and is thus ideally situated as a base from which to take day trips to the Kruger National Park, without the need to sleepover in the park. Marloth Park is a bird watchers paradise, with approximately 300 bird species, including the eastern nicator, yellow-billed, red-billed, grey and crowned hornbills to name a few. The iconic sound of an African Fish Eagle will calm even the most stressed soul. The house can accommodate 8 guests and have 3 ensuite bedrooms. Upstairs there are two ensuite bedrooms, with a queen bed, shower, bath and double vanities. Downstairs, there is one ensuite bedroom with two three quarter beds, a shower and single vanity. Upstairs, there is a loft area that has two sleeper couches for the 7th and 8th guest to sleep. The kitchen is well equipped and features a gas stove, fridge/freezer combo, microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher, cutlery, crockery, and a water filtration system. The bar area has a bar fridge, icemaker, and glasses for your indulgence. All bedrooms, as well as living areas, leading to entertainment decks. The bottom deck has a splash pool and a boma with a braai area and fire pit. The deck is very spacious and offers our guests a great time to relax and enjoy the animals walking freely around the house. There are uncapped Wi-Fi and full DStv for your comfort. In October 2023 a solar system with a 16KW inverter and a 15KW battery system were added to the property to keep our valued guests comfortable during loadshedding. The property also have a borehole. The house feature air-conditioning in all rooms as well as the downstairs living area. The house is equipped with an alarm system, including beams on the decks. There is also a clear guard security system in front of windows and doors. The house is within close proximity to restaurants and shops located in Marloth Park.

Neatly placed between Komatipoort and Malelane, Marloth Park is only 30kms from the border into Mozambique, and only 20kms from the Crocodile entrance into the Kruger National Park. Marloth Park is separated from the Kruger by the Crocodile River and walking along the river visitors can easily spot wildlife. Zebra, kudu, giraffe, wildebeest, warthog, and other small animals roam freely around the park.

Marloth Park provides the perfect destination for those seeking a peaceful holiday experience filled with many great outdoor activities. Game viewing is best done during the autumn and winter months as the bushveld is less dense making game-spotting easier.
