Our unique mountainside home feels like it could be an hour from civilization, yet it is only a few blocks away from the heart of the vibrant surfers' and artists' community of Muizenberg. Climbing up a wide set of stairs adorned with beautiful mosaics, you’ll be rewarded with unparalleled views of False Bay. Early birds can enjoy the sunrise over the water, and you'll have views stretching to Simon’s Town and the Cape Peninsula. The wooden house is perched above a lush indigenous garden with plenty of space to relax. **Accommodation is offered in two units:** ** Main House:** On the main floor, an open-plan living and dining area, with an adjoining sun room. The fully equipped and newly renovated kitchen features high-end fittings, including a Smeg gas stove. There is an en-suite bedroom with a queen bed and a newly renovated bathroom. You can dine in the indoor dining area, outside on the covered patio, or in the braai area. Upstairs, there's a queen-size master bedroom with a balcony, a bedroom with a tri-bunk bed (double bed with a single bed on top), and a family bathroom with an ocean-view bathtub. The house offers great views from every angle, especially from the wraparound patio. ** Downstairs Apartment:** Relax in the unique, newly renovated one-bedroom apartment with space for up to four people. The garden apartment sits below the main wooden house and adjacent to the main garden with plenty of space to relax. Enter through a private gate into your own little garden and patio area with sweeping ocean views. Inside, an open-plan living area with a kitchen set up a few steps to maximize the ocean views. The primary queen bedroom, off the lounge, features large glass windows overlooking the ocean. The day bed in the lounge and an additional single bed in a nook off the lounge accommodate two extra guests. The newly renovated kitchen includes a custom eat-in island and induction cooktop, and the bathroom features a large walk-in shower. The lounge opens to a balcony with comfy patio furniture. **Outdoor Amenities:** On the upper level of the indigenous garden, there is a relaxing saltwater pool, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. The lower level features a braai area and a pizza oven with a table under a massive bougainvillaea. We hope you’ll feel right at home in our unique property.

Muizenberg is Africa's oldest surfing town in Africa. Home to one of the world's best learn-to-surf beaches and the warmest waters on the Cape Town coastline, Muizenberg is a must-visit holiday destination while in Cape Town. There are many tourist attractions in the area with walking tours on offer from Muizenberg Tours and Travel. For breakfast, the choice is abundant. Hang Ten Cafe is a local surfers' hangout and institutional cafes like Empire Cafe, Hans and Lloyd, and Joon in the village have been local favorites for many years. This area is home to incredible restaurants, and a vibrant nightlife with Tigers Milk, Striped Horse, and others only a short walk from the space. The Blue Bird Garage Market is also a hot favourite on Thurs and Fri nights. Visitors can enjoy a coastal walk from Muizenberg to Kalk Bay that includes the historical mile. This part of the walk features some wonderful historical buildings including the SA Police Museum, Casa Labia, Rhodes Cottage, and Het Posthuys, one of the oldest buildings in South Africa.
