Clairvaux Estate
Clairvaux Estate is a historical homestead, surrounded by a picturesque landscape found at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains, in the heart of the Robertson Winelands in the Western Cape. The property is one of the oldest in the region and with each generation it has evolved. We invite you to stay at this historic farmhouse and experience Clairvaux’s hospitality and the wonders of Robertson. The property was renovated in 1890 for Balthazar Kloppers. Clairvaux Estate is a working farm so guests can expect to see staff on the property and in the out-buildings whilst enjoying the privacy that both the Historical Farmhouse and Prevoir Baths Pool House offers.
Area Info
We are proud to call Clairvaux Historical Farmhouse our home for the last 5 generations. A place where dreams become reality. Today Clairvaux Estate is home to Rialheim Studio which produces authentic ceramic homeware and decor. The Rialheim studio represents the owner's dream to express his love for Africa using African clay as a medium and to utilise Clairvaux Estate as a contributor to the Robertson Wine Valley experience. For the safety of the Rialheim Studio team, studio tours and visits are currently not permitted.
Clairvaux Historical Farm House is nestled between Clairvaux Wine Cellar and Rialheim. While Clairvaux remains an operational farm it is also walking distance to town.
