Dans Country Lodge
Nestled in the peaceful countryside, just 22 km outside of Mthatha, Dan’s Country Lodge is set in the backdrop of vast rolling hills, with clean, fresh air and bright starry night skies. Dans Country Lodge is located closer to the home of one of the three Nelson Mandela Museums and the home of the legends such as Nelson Mandela, Walter Sisulu, Dr. Dan Pasiya, Kaiser Matanzima, Odwa Ndungane, Nkosinathi Maphumulo aka Black Coffee, etc. The city is a colourful and lively centre of the region. It stands on the banks of the Mtata River from which the city derives its name from the word thatha (taker), owing to the damage and fatalities caused by the flooding river.
