De Bos Backpackers & Camping
De Bos Backpackers & Camping is in an exquisite location with panoramic mountain views. Our variety of accommodation includes backpackers suites and dorms, shaded campgrounds and five private, child-friendly self-catering cottages. The campsites all have fireplaces for barbecues and communal bathrooms with hot and cold showers. Everyone has access to the swimming pool and kiddies playground. We are pet-friendly and free WiFi is available to all guests. There is also an abundance of birdlife.

The beautiful town of Montagu is just 190km from Cape Town and is at the gateway to the Klein Karoo. We are on Route 62, a popular tourist destination, and our surrounding mountains are also famous for rock climbing. We are an ideal base for excursions to the nearby Breede River Valley, a superb wine-producing region.

There are permanent barbecue pits, with cooking grids supplied. 5 camper showers and toilets. There is also a large communal kitchen with seating for use by campers and backpackers. There are no electrical points on the campsite.
