The guesthouse has recently been beautifully expanded on demand. The “Vellewaenhuis", meaning ‘The Shed’ in Afrikaans, was converted, and now boasts 3 self-catering chalets. These units are modern, and ideal for a family stay. There are 6 rooms available, and 3 self-catering chalets. Horseshoe mountain, on the farm, is the highest point between Cape Town and Johannesburg in a straight line. Desert Dew Guesthouse is the halfway stop between Cape Town and Gauteng, the perfect place to unwind before the long journey. There are also 6 natural springs on the farm, hence the name Desert Dew.
