Di Plaaswerf
Di Plaaswerf is a guest farm located on a real working farm where the silence is only broken by the sound of cattle, the bleating of sheep and the songs of birdlife. Enjoy the majestic view of the beautiful Ventersberg mountain in the background while your 'farm neighbours' quietly graze nearby. The farmhouse sleeps up to 12 guests with a lovely large kitchen, braai facilities, the use of the fully equipped lapa, Wi-Fi, DStv and indoor fireplace. The house is furnished with comfortable double and single beds, sharing the use of 1 bathroom with a shower and the other an old farmhouse bathtub. The chalet sleeps 3 people and has a double bed and a single children’s bed with a shower-only bathroom. The chalet has an indoor fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a patio to sit and enjoy the beautiful views and of course a braai. The rondavel sleeps 2 people in a double bed and has a full bathroom. The undercover kitchen has a gas stove and overlooks the surroundings and braai facilities. Guests can swim in the farm dam and on request book the communal lapa for functions and offer braai facilities, a dishwasher, a freezer with ice, cutlery and crockery and tables and chairs.

Di Plaaswerf is only 2 km outside of the picturesque town of Fouriesburg on R711 road to Clarens. The scenery of the Eastern Free State can easily be explored from here, and attractions like Clarens or Golden Gate are just around the corner. With the R711 was voted one of the most scenic drives in South Africa. The guest farm is also located ideally 8 km from the Lesotho Caldedon Border post and 65 km to Afriski. The Fouriesburg and Clarens area is filled with the most amazing nature activities. You can enjoy fishing, hiking, tubing down the Caledon river, horse riding, 4 x 4 routes, cycling and more.
