What our abode has to offer is a view unsurpassed, the farm is situated on 50 acres of breathtaking Drakensberg beauty. The uKhahlamba Drakensberg Mountains is a World Heritage Site and Drakenzicht KZN has been nestling peacefully at the foot of the Central Berg for more than five decades. Drakenzicht Main House has 4 bedrooms with air-conditioning. The first, second and third bedrooms each contain 2 single beds that can be converted to a king-size bed on request. The fourth bedroom contains 3 single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a shower and twin washbasins. The second bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. The third bathroom contains a shower. The forth bedroom is adjacent to a bathroom with bath and shower. On the loft is additional sleeping space with loose mattrasses and another bathroom with a shower and separate toilet. The kitchen, dining and living area are spacious, with high ceilings and large glass windows to enjoy the beautiful views. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary self-catering amenities, like a stove and oven, microwave, 2 fridge-freezers, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils and an automatic washing machine (on request). The spacious lounge and dining area has a flat-screen TV, a fireplace and underfloor heating, and a large dining table. An inverter/battery system ensures power during load shedding. Drakenzicht Main House’s star feature is the lovely covered verandah which serves as an entertainment area with a gas braai, a table seating six and a generous view of the mountainous horizon. Drakenzicht Cottage is a cozy alternative for smaller groups visiting the glorious mountains. The cottage sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms, main en-suite bathroom with shower and another bathroom with bath. The kitchen and living/dining area open up onto a private open deck from where the bird-life can be enjoyed. A gas braai is provided and outside seating for 4 people. Take a closer look at the various natural landscapes and outdoor scenery from benches scattered in the sunny garden. Or take a picnic blanket and watch the children play. Huge trees provide a lovely canopy for lazy afternoons, and the garden supply a variety of flower and bird life during the year.
