The Farm name Knoffelfontein (in English, Garlic Fountain) was given to the farm in 1910 because of the natural spring found just behind the Eco Karoo Lodge, and home of the Tulbaghia violacea (Wild Garlic flower) growing freely on the farm. The cabins have their own private patios and BBQ area. There is a fire place in each room and en-suite bathrooms.
