Marakele National Park is only a 15 minute drive. Marakele National Park hosts Africa’s Big 5 game species. Here visitors can enjoy many nature trails, from steep and demanding to leisurely and relaxing. There are numerous sightings in the area from wildlife to immaculate views. We also cater for longer stays. NOTE: You are welcome to have dinner at our restaurant at Maroela Restaurant (9 Maroela Street) which is about 3km away. There you will have magnificent views over the town and Waterberg mountains from the top of the hill. We also serve dinner at the property.
Area Info
The Waterberg Mountains, which rise up behind the town, are known to be one of the most scenic regions in South Africa. Add to this the experience and hospitality for which the region is so famous! For the holiday makers the well-known Marakele and Pilansberg National Parks and Sun City are all within easy reach. Also a must-visit is the Predator Park where they breed and feed white lions.
