Elandsrus Country Lodge
The lodge has 4 en-suite rooms with a large entertainment area for everyone to relax in, self-catering facilities as well as 3 braai (BBQ) areas. For those wanting to try true Karoo hospitality and home-made meals. Dinner and breakfast are served in the dining room of the farmhouse. Dinners have to be ordered in advance, so contact Elandsrus before 12:00 on the day of arrival to place dinner orders. The farm offers many roads to walk and enjoy a vast birdlife, small antelope, a diverse and interesting array of vegetation and the sounds and tranquility of nature.
Area Info
The Three Sisters is a low mountain range near Victoria West, Northern Cape, South Africa, comprising three distinctively shaped hills. The farm on which they are situated and the nearby railway siding are also named Three Sisters. The hills are topped with dolerite, and are nearly identical in appearance.
For those who love the snow, note that it does snow in winter and temperatures can reach below freezing point. Located in an arid to semi-arid desert climate, Karoo is prone to wide variations in temperature and little to no rainfall. The park receives an average rainfall of 190mm/7.5in per year and is subject to periods of drought.

The Karoo Jewel is a beautiful room in the old Farmhouse. The old lounge has lots of space and has been converted into a very romantic Karoo setting. Has a huge walk in shower. The room has a fireplace and full DStv. Parking close to the side entrance.
