The lodge is located in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, which lays in the heart of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is dominated by different veld types and has characteristic mountainous bushveld areas. It is the perfect setting for a wide variety of 5500 species of plants, of which 43% are endemic to Southern Africa.
