Farmers Lodge
Farmers Lodge offers tranquil accommodation on a peaceful farm, approximately 17 km from central Mkhondo (Piet Retief). The lodge is also ideal as a base to explore the surrounding area or guests travelling from or to the Nerston or the Mahamba Border Posts of Eswatini. Accommodation comprises 8 Standard Twin Rooms and 1 self-catering 2-Sleeper Cottage. Each option features a private bathroom. Each Standard Twin Room contains a bar fridge, a flat-screen TV with Netflix and other streaming apps, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The Cottage offers a well-equipped kitchenette for guests to cook their meals in. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The guest farm also has a communal kitchen, BBQ/braai facilities, and solar power in case there are power outages. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rates. Lunch can be arranged. Covered parking is available on the premises.

Piet Retief, officially eMkhondo, is a town situated in a timber-growing region in Mpumalanga province, South Africa. It is the seat of the Mkhondo Local Municipality. It is located not far from the Eswatini border.
Its main tourist attraction is the Dutch Reformed Church which was designed by the architect Gerard Moerdijk and built in 1921.
