Green Venus

The Green Venus Guesthouse is located in the heart of the mountain village of Kaapsehoop. We have eight luxury double en-suite bedrooms uniquely furnished to reflect the moods of the mountain. This family-run business focuses on true hospitality and caters for special dietary requirements as much as real country comfort food.

Area Info

Unique to the village are the wild horses who outnumber the residents and roam freely. To see them frolic around town gives once a sense of the freedom of movement humans can enjoy along with the animals. Encounter more wildlife when exploring one of the hiking trails or take a stroll to the escarpment where the crater that makes the De Kaap Valley can be seen, as well as the Makhonjwa Mountains that run all the way into Swaziland.
