Welcome to Gulu Private Resort We invite you to embark on a new journey with us at Gulu Private Resort, a family-owned and operated establishment dedicated to offering a personalized and unforgettable experience. Located just 14 km from East London Airport, a quick 10-minute drive along the scenic R72 coastal road towards Kidds Beach and Port Alfred, Gulu Private Resort is nestled along the tranquil banks of the Gulu River. It provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Accommodation Our resort features 4 units and 1 en-suite private room, offering a variety of options to suit your needs. Three of the units can accommodate up to 4 guests. Spoonbill Units: Each unit includes 2 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom—one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. These units also have interleading doors that lead to the kitchen and lounge area. Hammerkop Unit: This unit has 2 private bedrooms with a shared bathroom, as well as a lounge and kitchen. Weaver Unit: A cozy en-suite room for 2 guests, complete with a private bathroom. Wood Hoopoe Unit: Furnished with a king-size bed, this unit features an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, and toilet. Each of our units is equipped with a kitchen that includes a fridge, microwave, kettle, iron, toaster, gas stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, ensuring you can cater to your own preferences. Check-In Information Check-in is strictly from 14:00 to 17:00 at reception. For arrivals outside these hours, self-check-in can be arranged in advance. Dining Update Please note that we no longer serve breakfast or dinner to guests, as the restaurant is now open exclusively for functions and group bookings. However, each unit is fully equipped for self-catering, allowing you the flexibility to prepare your own meals.
