Hannic's Retreat
*We offer luxurious self-catering accommodation that will feel like your home away from home. Centrally located between Johannesburg, Durban and Bloemfontein, it is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway *Our graceful and comfy cottage has 3 bedrooms: The main bedroom has a standard queen-size double bed with an en-suite heated bathroom with a shower and a bath. It also has a wooden cottage pane door leading onto the veranda *The second bedroom has a standard queen-size double bed also with a wooden cottage pane door leading onto the veranda. *The third bedroom has two standard single beds. Bedrooms 2 & 3 share a bathroom with a bath and a shower with a separate toilet *The living area is open-plan and includes a lounge, dining room and kitchen. The lounge has a gas fireplace. The Television with DSTV is also in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped for six people and includes a combination fridge/freezer, a Microwave oven, dishwasher and a gas stove and electric oven. There is a built-in braai facility on the veranda and also a single lock-up garage on the side of the house. We have a back-up battery as well as a back-up water system to ensure uninterrupted comfort.

Clarens is situated on the foothills of the Maluti Mountains, next to the Golden Gate National Park and Lesotho. With ample art galleries around the village square, it is a little Artists haven, with a lot of well-known artists either living in or visiting the village on a regular basis
The beautiful nature surrounding Clarens is also a big attraction for photographers and the more adventurous outdoor fanatics
