Happy Valley
Welcome to Happy Valley we are a family-owned self-catering guest lodge situated on a small citrus farm in the heart of the Franschhoek Winelands. Two rivers border the farm, the smaller Kastaiings River and the Franschhoek River which joins the Berg River about 4 km downstream. We are surrounded by mountains and boast exceptional views. Happy Valley is situated 5 km from Franschhoek and just a short stroll from the famous La Motte and Eikehof vineyards. Join in our harvest and pick your clementines in season! Guests have a choice to choose from our comfortable accomodation, each option offering cosy beds and private bathrooms. The cottages and Manor House also feature a fully equipped kitchen or a kitchenette for your convenience. Our Manor House and Cottages offer the sought-after peace, tranquillity and privacy you'd expect on a privately owned farm, with the lively little village of Franschhoek, the food and wine capital of the Cape, a mere 5 minutes away. Our swimming pool is in a secluded spot by the river with ancient oaks offering shade, and there are various braai areas around the Farm. There is a laundry service available.

This secluded cottage offers 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, a slipper bath, and a separate shower, with linen and towels provided. It has an open-plan kitchenette and a cosy lounge. Enjoy the outdoor braai area under ancient oaks overlooking the river.
