Hemel N Aarde Stud Accommodation
Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud offers self-catering accommodation on a picturesque working thoroughbred stud farm, set in the beautiful Hemel ‘N Aarde Valley between Hermanus and Caledon. The views from some locations on the farm are spectacular and the entire property is backed by the impressive Babylon Tower Mountain Range, looking across the Hemel ‘n Aarde Valley below. Accommodation is offered in luxury 2-sleeper bungalows, and 2-sleeper deluxe rooms. The bungalows have an open-plan layout and each contain a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a lounge area with a fireplace, and a kitchenette fitted with a fridge-freezer, 2-plate hob, microwave, kettle and toaster. Sliding doors open to a deck with a gas braai, outdoor dining table and chairs, a couch, and a private Kolkol wood-fired hot tub. The deluxe rooms each have their own private entrance and contain queen, king or twin single beds, a work desk and seating area, a flat-screen TV with DStv, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Each room has an in-cupboard kitchenette fitted with a bar fridge, microwave and tea and coffee tray. Each room has a patio with outdoor dining furniture and a gas braai. The Hemel ‘n Aarde Valley is just a few kilometres inland from the picturesque town of Hermanus, enjoying generally moderate temperatures and sea breezes in a climate that suits the growth of thoroughbred horses. The fertile Valley also grows other nationally and internationally famous farming products: grapes for award winning wines in neighbouring estates and the highest quality fruit and vegetables, supplying major retailers at home and abroad.
