Hoogeind Manor

All our B&B guestrooms form part of the Manor House with a frontal view over the beautiful gardens, our vineyards, and the picturesque False Bay. The property is secured with remote operating gates, electric fencing, and patrolling night security. We have clean, filtered borehole water available in all the rooms. PLEASE TAKE NOTE Check-in Times and Arrival: Check-in times are strictly between 14:00 and 16:00 on weekdays. Check-in after hours or on weekends must please be arranged in advance with a punctually agreed arrival time. Check-out Times and Departure: Our reception office is closed on weekends. Check-out on weekends is completely independent and we please request that you lock the room and place the key in the white mailbox next to Room 1 on the front side of the Manor House. The flap lifts up and there is a slot through which you can deposit the keys. Load-Shedding: Hoogeind Manor unfortunately does not have a permanent power generator. The guest rooms will be temporary without electricity during load shedding. We do provide an oil lamp and matches in each room to make light. Please note that load shedding interrupts the water supply to the guest rooms as the borehole pump is completely out of order without electricity. However, the water supply will immediately return to normal as soon as the electricity switches on again. Facilities and Meals: Breakfast is not included in any rates but can be added as an additional option and must be strictly arranged and confirmed in advance. Hoogeind Manor is closed on Sundays and unfortunately, there will be no housekeeping or breakfast available. The breakfast option can be taken as a takeaway package, instead of a sit-down breakfast. Please arrange in advance if you request a breakfast package. Unfortunately, the rooms do not have a microwave or any cutlery and crockery. Take-away meals must therefore be consumed hot and cannot be reheated. Unfortunately, we do not provide dinners on the premises and there is also no bar facility available. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic refreshments and store them in the mini-fridge in the room for private use. Weddings and Functions: Hoogeind Manor is primarily a function venue and weddings and functions take place regularly on weekends. Please note that function guests move around the premises during such events. All music and loud noise will end punctually at midnight. Swimming Pool and Braai Facilities: The pool is used at your own risk. Hoogeind Manor takes no responsibility for the safety of any guests. The braai facilities are strictly self-catering and wood, braai equipment, cutlery, crockery, and glasses must be self-provided. Security and Motor Gates: The motor gates go on security lockdown every night from midnight until 07:00 the next morning. Please make use of the delivery gate at the back of the Manor House during this time and use the brown button on the gate control to enter or exit the premises.
