iNsingizi Lodge & Spa is nestled in a secret valley on a working cane farm in the South Midlands of KZN, in the farming district of Eston/Mid Illovo. It has an air of tranquility and a "get away from it all" feel that has made it a destination of choice for more and more returning visitors.
The original farm Torquay has been farmed in the Dohne/Killian family for more than 75 years and is currently farmed by Nigel & Di Dohne and their sons Ryan & Kyle. Their daughter Jenna assists in running the lodge.
What started out as a means of generating employment for the local community and a chance for the Dohne family to share their heritage, love of the land and indigenous bush with friends and family....has expanded into a personable and lovely African-themed Lodge & Spa that offers a close-by, inexpensive and fun-filled escape in KZN that just really needs to be experienced to be fully appreciated.
