Jacobs Bay Backpackers
The Plot provides various accommodation types and each unit is nestled amongst landscaped gardens. Book a double room, an A-frame tent, the Stone Cottage or share a dorm. Ablutions include toilets and showers and the kitchen is also shared. Scattered around the units are ample braai areas and indoor bar and entertainment areas. The Plot is available to be exclusively hired and accommodates up to 43 guests for sleeping. Camping sites are available with electricity provided.
Area Info
Jacobs Bay is situated between popular tourism towns of Langebaan and Paternoster. This authentic West Coast village is wrapped around seven pristine bays and beaches. This area is a favourite amongst, fishermen, surfers, birdwatchers, hikers and nature lovers. The Plot is situated in the Cape West Coast Biosphere Reserve and many wildlife species can be seen along the way in the wild or along the nature reserves and private animal parks. The coastline provides scenic hiking trails with magnificent views of the ocean. Guests enjoy day trips to nearby national parks, towns and historical places such as the West Coast Fossil Park on Langebaanweg. Wine lovers enjoy the Darling Wine Route and nature lovers, the West Coast National Park. Fishermen can fish along the Jacobs Bay coast, the Langebaan Lagoon, Swartriet beaches and the Berg River. The Plot is a perfect stopover for guests traveling to and from Namibia on the N7. Peak flower season is between the 15th of August until 15th September and The Plot is the ideal place to live amongst this incredible display of nature.
