KarMichael Farm
KarMichael Farm is situated on a 23 Ha working farm just outside the Village of Himeville, in the Southern Drakensberg. Accommodation consists of 4 Self Catering Cottages and 4 separate rooms. In total, we can sleep 22 people depending on sleeping arrangements. The property also has 2 freshwater dams that can be fished. At present, there is only bass in the dams, and it's a strictly catch and release policy. The Farm has superb views into Lesotho with Hodgson's Peaks very prominent on clear days. The turn off to Sani Pass is just over 1 Km away.
Area Info
Situated at elevation of 1500m above sea level, Cool winters with possible snow and hot summers with heavy rainfall at times.
Right next to turn off to the Sani Pass into Lesotho and the Highest Pub in Africa.

Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is a comfortable 2 bedroom self-catering cottage. Each has its own spacious private bathroom with large shower, bath, toilet and hand basin. It has an open plan lounge, dining room and fully fitted kitchenette, as well as fireplace.
Fisherman's Cottage

Fisherman's Cottage has 3 bedrooms, comfy lounge and open plan kitchen and dining area. One room has a queen size bed and the other 2 have 3/4 and single beds. Hot blankets will be supplied for those chilly winter evenings.Has a fireplace and braai area.
The Stables

This unit has 2 ¾ beds and is self-catering. The kitchen area has a small fridge, toaster and microwave oven. There is also a combined small 2 plate cooker and oven. There is an outside braai area too.
Livingstone Room

Livingstone is one of 4 tastefully decorated and spacious with bathroom which has a huge walk-in shower. There is also a corner bath unit and toilet and hand basin. For now we are not doing meals due to COVID and staff shortages. We are supporting local.
Serenity
