Kliprand Guest House
Kliprand Guest House is the new add on to the Halfmens cc profile of Mr Konrad Steyn, aka Kappie. Elkoweru Guest House is merging with Kliprand Guest House from 2025. Your home in Springbok. Opened for our love of people, new adventures and Namaqualand. We make sure that all our guests leave as friends, making people from different countries, languages and cultures feel welcome and at home. The guesthouse is nestled in the picturesque town of Springbok, renowned as the Namaqualand Flower Capital, serves as an ideal stopover along the main N7 highway connecting Cape Town and Namibia. The guesthouse offers 21 cozy rooms and a single room for that backpack traveler, each featuring amenities like a TV with select DStv channels, air-conditioning, a bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and Wi-Fi access. A charming communal lounge area with a library provides a relaxing space for all guests, complete with a large fridge, microwave, toaster, and additional tea and coffee facilities. On warm summer days, bask by the inviting swimming pool on comfortable sun loungers, or gather friends for a delightful barbecue, complete with a provided braai box. Some of our bathrooms are configured with grab bars for disabled guests, but we regret there is no ramps for wheelchair access. The is also a fully equipped gym on the premises of Elkoweru, right next door.

Kliprand Guesthouse is situated in the lovely town of Springbok, which is world-renowned as the Namaqualand Flower Capital. It is the perfect stopover on the main N7 highway between Cape Town and Namibia.
Springbok lies in a narrow valley between the high granite domes of the Klein Koperberge, which are locally referred to as Klipkoppe. It is also the perfect stopover for a trip to the Richtersveld National Park, where river rafting on the Orange River or 4x4 trails can be enjoyed.
