KweKwe Private Game Lodge

Our 3 lodges, Hornbill, Tata Somba and Ndebele are located 500 metres from each other within the farm, offering proximity for large groups but still allowing for total privacy between each lodge. Each lodge has a different theme inspired by different African tribes. Tata Somba and Ndebele lodge are both wheelchairs friendly. The lodges boast of comfortable and spacious bedrooms which are all en-suite. Each lodge is fully furnished and also has an outdoor swimming pool, Lapa and Braai Area. A variety of games can also be found in each lodge.

Area Info

Kwe Kwe also offers guided walks with our ranger. Each lodge has its own swimming pool, garden and playroom, with pool table, table tennis and darts. A network of dirt roads and paths are suitable for walking and cycling unaccompanied, including hikes up the koppie. Game on the farm includes giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, kudu, impala, waterbuck, redhaartebeest, duiker, steenbok, jackal, warthog, mongoose, ostriches and many birds.

Hornbill Lodge

The lodge consists of a large open plan living area, dining room with a large wooden dining table, a kitchen which is fully equipped including a gas stove, 2 fridges/freezer. The lodge can accommodate up to 11 guests and has 4 bedrooms.

Ndebele

Guests: 13
Max Adults: 8

This lodge comprises of three buildings, which have been painted by the local Ndebele women from the village of Mabhoko. It can accommodate up to 13 guests. Two of the bedrooms are suitable for disabled persons (if accompanied by able-bodied guests).

Tata Somba

This thatched lodge was inspired by the traditional architecture of Benin (West Africa). Built on two levels and decorated with art and objects from Benin and surrounding African countries, it can accommodate up to 9 people.
