Leliekloof Lodge

Accommodation is offered in the main farm house which can accommodate up to 8 guests. The ambience of the house with its unique environment does not lend itself to strangers sharing. We therefore only take one group of guests at a time (no matter the group size), offering a unique farm holiday experience where friends and family can enjoy activities and relax together. To make the most of your stay we recommend at least 2 days and warm clothes (high altitude at 1800m) it gets cold even during summer months. To reach us, we further recommend vehicles with high ground clearance. Remember to pack a camera, binoculars, decent footwear, sunblock & hat, warm jacket, food, snacks and drinks.

ABOUT-

Leliekloof lodge offers holiday accommodation which is set on a working farm in an outstanding valley on the Stormberg Mountains. After visiting Leliekloof, the artist Walter Battiss (father of South African Impressionism), called Leliekloof the 'Valley of Art' due to the many rock art sites.

Thanks to Leliekloof’s unique environment, the landscape is a stunning high altitude wilderness at 1800m, where Skulpspruit river chiselled a beautiful gorge through sandstone and dolerite hills.
