Little Forest Farm

Little Forest Farm is a place to get away from your day-to-day and relax. Just over an hour’s drive from Joburg and Pretoria on good roads, with only 7km on a reasonable gravel road. We have 3 accommodation units available, the Loft Apartment that sleeps 4, The Cottage sleeping 6 and the Garden Suite that sleeps 2.

Area Info

Maanhaarrand is a visual extravaganza for those who love the natural splendour of this country, as well as its fauna and flora. Archaeologists have long been fascinated in the region, thanks to the fossilised remains of ancient species that can be found here, both human and animal.

The unit can sleep 4 people, 2 downstairs on a queen bed and 2 in the upstairs loft with a double bed. The unit also has a kitchenette, Wi-Fi , lounge area, and a rooftop patio with braai facility.

Large room with queen bed sleeping 2, although part of the main house it has a separate entrance onto a covered patio and separate bathroom for exclusive use. The room is not available as self-catering, however a gas burner and whistle kettle

The Cottage

Guests: 6

The Cottage sleeps 6 people, 2 downstairs 4 in the upstairs loft space. It's open-plan with a fireplace, kitchenette, Wi-Fi , lounge area, and a covered patio with braai facility. Hot water is supplied by a wood fueled rocket-stove "donkey" geyser.
