Waterval Onder is a small village situated at the base of the escarpment on the banks of the Elands River, 106 km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and 82 km from central Mbombela.
Unlike its big sister, Waterval Boven, at the top of the Eland Falls, Waterval Onder never developed into a town and has retained a village charm. Waterval Onder is the ideal area to stop off on your way to or from Kruger Park and Mozambique.
