Lumley's Place Guesthouse is a first-generation family-owned tourism business situated in the historic village of Johannesdal, Pniel, a previously disadvantaged community. The original population of the Cape Winelands was made up of people descendent from the San hunter-gatherers and the Khoi herders. The dispersion of humans to the area dates back as far as 1 million years ago and the San were the first known indigenous inhabitants. Situated amidst our village homes and surrounded by our neighbors to experience community life at her fullest. Welcoming and serving our guests with passion and sincerity leaves a memorable impression on those who come through its doors as guests and visitors. This care can be seen in every bit of detail from the liberal use of glass to utilize natural light during the day and create a most spectacular effect at night to the color of the building which compliments rather than shouts. Consider for a moment interior design and decorations with its sleepers on the staircase and its pioneer styled fireplaces to its ultra modern banisters and plush duvets and textured paints with every room having a unique identity. In short, no expense was spared to provide guests with private exclusivity and only the ultimate in absolute comfort.
