Welcome to Unit 11, Luwandla - a charming self-catering accommodation located in a lovely complex in St Lucia. The house offers three cosy bedrooms, each equipped with comfortable beds that can accommodate two adults. There are also two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other with a shower, making it ideal for families or friends travelling together. As you make your way up to the front door, you will be greeted by lush green gardens that create a serene and inviting atmosphere. The quaint courtyard area is perfect for hanging wet beach towels and storing boogie boards and sandpit toys after a fun day at the beach. You can cook in the fully equipped kitchen or step out through the sliding doors onto the patio and fire up the Weber braai while you delight in the garden views and the Trumpeter Hornbills that inhabit the trees above. Alternatively, you can grab a bite from one of the several restaurants close by. The comfortable lounge area is a great place to unwind, adjust the air-conditioning to your desired temperature, and enjoy your favourite shows on the smart TV using the free Wi-Fi. If you are feeling hot, the complex also boasts a lovely swimming pool that is perfect for taking a refreshing dip.

St Lucia is a popular tourist destination, mainly because of its World Heritage Site title. It boasts South Africa's largest estuary and is renowned for having the highest concentration of hippos and crocodiles in the country. Luwandla is conveniently located just a stone's throw away from some beautiful beaches; Ingwe Beach is 1.8 km away, Jabula Beach is 2.3 km away, the Estuary Boardwalk is 3 km away, Mission Rocks Beach is 16.4 km away, and Cape Vidal Beach is 34 km away.

If you decide to venture into town, you will find that Luwandla is just 700m away from Mckenzie Street, the main high street in St Lucia. Here, you will find everything you need, from grocery stores like Shoprite Mini and SPAR Pick n Save to restaurants, beach stores, curio stalls, and tour offices. St Lucia has plenty to offer when it comes to what to do, including estuary, hippo and crocodile boat cruises, deep-sea fishing trips, snorkelling excursions in Cape Vidal, horse trails, kayak safaris, and game drives in iSimangaliso Wetland Park (9 km) and Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park (52 km). If you are visiting during the right season, you can even book a turtle nesting tour and witness Loggerhead and Leatherback turtles laying their eggs on the beaches of St Lucia.
