Our two luxurious chalets each feature a plush Queen bed and en-suite bathrooms complete with a toilet, shower, and basin. Each chalet boasts an extended concrete verandah, providing a prime vantage point for game viewing. It's the ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and couples seeking extra comfort while overlooking the beautiful surrounding bush, the Selati River bed, and vibrant birdlife. The first four tents offer four comfortable twin beds each, paired with rustic ablution facilities. Imagine freshening up in our unique ablution area, featuring three showers, three toilets, and three basins—an authentic bush experience. All guests have access to a shared kitchen, perfect for preparing meals and socializing. There are also three braai areas with a lapa and deck overlooking the beautiful Selati River, ideal for enjoying a traditional South African barbecue while taking in the stunning views. Mazunga Tented Camp is the perfect destination for a family getaway, group retreat, or a gathering of friends. Area Info

Mazunga Tented Camp is situated on a cattle farm, our camp is home to a variety of wildlife. Animals like buffalo, plains game, sable, and roan antelope occasionally roam through the camp. At times, these magnificent animals, along with inquisitive leopards, can be seen in and around the tented camp. With over 40 mammal species, 350 different types of birds, and two of the Big Five animals, guests can immerse themselves in the rich wildlife.

Additionally, the camp offers a unique walk-through experience, allowing guests to explore the natural beauty and diverse fauna up close.

These rooms have a King-size bed, it has an en-suite bathroom shower only. There are free-standing fans for those hot summer nights. The deluxe feature of the tents is out of this world and privacy is key. There is a shared kitchen.
