Opened in March 2018, Memories Self-Catering was inspired by our love for travel and a passion for quality self-catering stays, designed with your comfort in mind. Each spacious unit features a private patio, garden, and outdoor barbecue facilities, providing an ideal setting for a relaxing getaway. The 4 units are situated on a spacious 1400m² property, with each unit offering approximately 85m² of living space and a 2m² private patio. This layout makes it the perfect choice for families, friends, or groups of up to 16 people traveling together, providing ample space and comfort for all. Our secure property, complete with an electric fence and a secure main entrance, ensures peace of mind during your stay. For your convenience, we offer free shaded parking directly at each unit and has a self-check-in system with key boxes at the main entrance, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free stay. To mitigate disruptions during loadshedding, each unit is equipped with a small inverter system that powers lights, TV and WiFi. Gas stove tops ensure uninterrupted cooking capability even during loadshedding. Please note, pets are not permitted in our accommodations. For guests’ convenience, the recently opened Jou Eie shopping centre is just a short distance away, offering a variety of shops including a Spar supermarket, Tops Liquor Store, Clicks, ABSA ATM, Vida e Caffé, KFC, and Agri Mark. Oudtshoorn is also rich in history and boasts a variety of local attractions, with George Airport located just 65 km away.

Oudtshoorn is a town in the Klein Karoo area of South Africa’s Western Cape. It’s known for its ostrich farms and rests along the Route 62 wine route. The central C.P. Nel Museum traces the ostrich-feather boom era and houses a working synagogue. The nearby Cango Wildlife Ranch is a conservation park offering animal petting. To the north, the Cango Caves are a 20-million-year-old network of limestone chambers.
