Murchinson Farm Cottage

The accommodation is off the beaten track in the African bush and within the communal grounds of the Farmhouse, thus giving you the privacy and seclusion of a bush retreat but with the security and warm hospitably of the Niemann family nearby. Our 4-bed cottage offers two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchenette and lounge. Our bungalow offers 2 spacious ensuite bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and private veranda.

The farm is in the heart of the lowveld tourist attractions close to the historical gold rush ghost town of Leydsdorp and Giant baobab and under an hour from three interesting and diverse towns. Head West toward the town of Tzaneen the area around which is large tropical garden town, situated in a lush, high rainfall fertile region with tropical and subtropical agriculture. Travel East to the town of Hoedspruit the hub of the wildlife and safari industry and gateway to Kruger National park. Or head North to Phalaborwa, a small mining town situated at the heart of the Kruger National Park.

One King Bed / two twin beds. Each room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. A table or desk with space for a laptop and a chair that’s comfortable to work in. Both rooms have french doors that open up onto the patio and overlook the garden.
