Mvemve GrootPoort Lodge offers guest accommodation located on a private farm 35 km from Memel. All rooms include breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner during your stay. ** This is a rural working farm and unfortunately we discourage children under the age of 10 ** What makes our farm a wonderful place to visit and stay will also shape your experience here so please be aware: - Our beautiful working farm is in a remote location (we are 45 minutes from the small town of Memel in Free State, 75 minutes from Newcastle in KZN and 90 minutes from Harrismith in Free State. - We have no signal and no WiFi - Home-style cooked meals are provided and included in the room price. Let us know if you have dietary requirements and we'll try to accommodate. We cannot guarantee that cross-contamination of allergens won't occur - The roads are un-tarred (unpaved) so car travel by 4x4 or a sedan with high wheel clearance is recommended

The farm is located on the border of Free State and KwaZulu-Natal. There are a few walking trails. Guests can go hiking, bird watching or stargazing.
