Klapmuts is a little town just off the R45 road between Stellenbosch and Paarl. It is well known for its surrounding wine farms.
Natte Valleij is surrounded by a variety of wine farms offering picnics in the garden, sushi in the cellar or just a beautiful view whilst sipping on some of the best wines.
A mere 10-minute drive will take you to the Lion Rehab centre for a day out with the kids, or a visit to the Giraffe House or Le Bonheur Crocodile farm will surely keep them busy all day, while enjoying a picnic or a light lunch.
Wiesenhof Adventure Park is right next to Natte Valleij and offers a full day of fun for the whole family in the summer months. From Wiesenhof, the Lievland Cafe is just a short walk away where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch with a beautiful view of the vineyards.
Spice Route on the old Paarl road offers a lovely day out for the whole family, offering gin and beer tastings, a scavenger hunt for the children or just a relaxing wine tasting and a meal.
Fairview Goats Cheese and Wine Farm has lots to do for the whole family and offers a juice and fudge tasting for the kids.

The Cellar Cottage

Situated next to the old wine cellars and is a cosy one bedroom self-catering cottage. It has a double bedroom, sitting room, into which two beds can be arranged for children, bathroom and kitchen. Also with a stoep and BBQ (braai facilities).
The En-Suite Guestroom

The en-suite guestroom is situated off the courtyard of the homestead with its own entrance and tea/coffee-making facilities. It consists of a double en-suite and is ideal for an overnight stay on route
Henhouse

This spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom (one with shower) cottage consists of one double and one queen bed. The cottage furthermore has a spacious living room, dining room and kitchen. A patio area with BBQ (braai) facilities is also available
