Welcome to our secure reservations and payments system. We have 3 levels of safe, central, affordable accommodation to suit your budget. Contractor and big school groups. Crew Budget Rooms from R298 (R149pppns) with Private Bathroom. Sleeps 1-2 from R398. No kitchen facilities, plain, no TV . The Self catering Suites and Cottages have it all with convenient comfort from R498/night for a room and R249pppn sharing in Cottages. Dorm Rooms from R199pps have fans - cheapest for travellers sharing with other guests. In STEP 1 below, enter arrival date, departure date OR no. of nights. Click “Check Availability”. Units priced per person show heads, while cottages priced per unit show a house icon. In STEP 2, answer how many rooms you need alongside your chosen unit/s. STEPS 3 and 4 are straightforward. N3 onto N2. N2 exit 177 onto R102 OR N2 exit 175 via Nandi Drive onto R102. From City & Beaches: R102 via Umgeni Rd OR M4 and M12 via Kenneth Kaunda Drive. North Lodge is in Grove Crescent off Orange Grove, which is off the R102. Please google Parkhill, Durban North and view directions to 21 Grove Crescent.
FOOD: All major supermarkets and fast food chains as well as restaurants plus Pick n Pay Hypermarket are within 2km. North Lodge is walking distance to a Fresh Stop Food Court with Nandos, Steers, Milky Lane and Fishaways, as well as an excellent Indian Food outlet.There are a great number of schools and several private tertiary institutions. Sports clubs and golf courses are plentiful all in a 5km radius.
Beachwood Mangroves Nature Reserve and Virginia Beach and airport are 2.5km. Umgeni Bird Park is 3km, North Beach and CBD and Ushaka Marine are within 9km.
Hospitals & Medical. Ethekwini Heart Hospital, Umhlanga Hospital, King George and Albert Luthuli are all within 10 minutes.
CHARACTER & PROPERTIES:
A desirable, safe and green area with a clean atmosphere - we border on a commercial district, but there is no heavy industry nearby. The Parkhill area is fully residential from the M12 up to the R102 (Chris Hani Rd/North Coast Rd), a narrow strip of commercial properties. There are no informal settlements.

Prices range from R800,000 up to R8,000,000 and even much higher, depending on the property. The houses range from solid Durban North character homes with classic high ceilings and beautiful Oregon floors, to modern mansions.
