Oakhurst Farm Cottages
Oakhurst farm is one of the few remaining, large working farms along the Garden route. Covering 640 hectares, 200 of which is pristine fynbos and indigenous forest, the farm is today run commercially by the Crowther family, sixth generation descendants of the original purchaser, Henry Dumbleton. Our 150 year old blacksmith forge has been lovingly transformed into the idea escape for couples and families looking for peace and quiet and something different.
Area Info
Oakhurst Farm is situated inland of the Wilderness Lakes along the Garden Route coast. There are a number of hiking, cycling a walking trails both on the farm and in the surrounding area. The farm is within a 15 minute drive from the beach at Wilderness George and Knysna are within 30 minutes driving distance.
