Paddahoek Cottage

Paddahoek Cottage is an off grid, authentic, comfortable stone cottage located on a quiet country lane in Vermaaklikheid. Thick stone walls, a high ceiling and a thatch roof keeps the building cool in summer. The lawn area has been fenced, so dogs are allowed, provided they are well behaved and friendly and do not chase or harass wild or domestic animals. Bath and two plate cooking hob are driven by gas. LED Lights and 300L fridge, freezer powered by the sun (no eskom power cuts here). Be Ware! Guests using the main bedroom must be comfortable in climbing a relatively steep staircase to the loft bedroom.

Area Info

750m / 5-8 min. walk to the public access point on the Duiwenhoks River. Guests can launch their preferred watercraft or take a swim in its cool waters.
