Sedgefield is a beautiful seaside village, lying between George and Knysna, along the renowned Garden Route in the Western Cape. The town is surrounded by glistening lakes, vegetated sand dunes, dense pine plantations, the Swartvlei Estuary, and the warm Indian Ocean.
The area surrounding Sedgefield is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Groenvlei Lake is the only freshwater lake in the area and is a popular spot for Bass fishing. It forms part of the Goukamma Nature Reserve and has some of the highest vegetated sand dunes in South Africa.
