Pontac Manor is situated in a quiet side street, just off the Main Road in the centre of Paarl, within walking distance of a number of interesting shops (art gallery, antique shops, jewellery design studio, interior design studio, gift shops, etc.), restaurants and coffee shops, banks, the tourist information centre and various tourist attractions.

Paarl is the perfect base from which to explore the Cape Winelands and the rest of the Western Cape. Various well-known wine estates are located in Paarl and on the slopes of Paarl Mountain. It is only approximately 20 minutes' drive to either of the other well-known winelands towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
