Riebeek Vista

Rest your feet at our purpose built holiday home in the stunning historic town of Riebeek Kasteel. Five unique en-suite bedrooms with king beds, straddle the panoramic view across the valley, capturing the spectacular Cape sunrise. Two rooms have baths as well as showers. Three rooms can be converted to twin beds. There is a comfy communal lounge area that leads onto a braai area. There is also a plunge pool for when you feel the country heat, outdoor communal seating on the first floor balcony and by the pool. We also offer enclosed parking. All rooms have tea/coffee facilities, a hairdryer and are fully air-conditioned. From all rooms you will have stunning views extending over the valley to the mountains beyond.

Riebeek Kasteel is one of the oldest towns in South Africa, just 80kms from Cape Town, nestled in the Riebeek Valley.
Situated in fertile fruit-growing countryside, we have access to wine producers, olive farms and many other producers in addition to the lovely selection of local artisans. Riebeek Kasteel also have a wide variety of restaurants, bars and cafés. All of whom we are proud to support. Below are a few of our favorites.

Tales of India

Tales from India also resides on the upper floor, This room has vaulted ceilings, a bath and captures the full beauty of the view from Riebeek Vista. Tales from India is named in honour of Ian's paternal family who spent memorable years in India.

Fido

Guests: 2

Fido resides on the upper floor with vaulted ceilings capturing the full glory of the African sun. En suite (shower) with wardrobe space, a hair dryer, coffee and tea making facilities and air conditioning. Fido is named after Ian's maternal grandfather.

Ouma London

Guests: 2

Ouma London is found on the lower floor and has a bath in the bedroom area to enhance the enjoyment of the superb views. Ouma London is Jackie's great grandmother who was renown for her role in nursing during and after the boer war.

The Resting Post

The Resting Post is situated on the ground floor and offers blackout curtains. This room is themed in honour of Jackie's maternal grandparents and mother who was born on an ox wagon during the families trek across the Kalahari Desert.

A Finnish Story

This small private room is set away from the other guest rooms, set on the far side of the guest braai, dining and pool area. The bathroom is separated from the room by a wall with open window frame. It has coffee and tea making facilities.
