There is nothing quite like escaping to the un-spoilt splendor of the Highveld, far away from the city hustle and bustle. Riverman Cabin Country lodge is situated in the Tonteldoos Valley, 25 km northeast of Dullstroom, which is only two and a half hours' drive from Johannesburg. It is the is the perfect retreat for couples in need of a romantic weekend getaway, family gatherings or friends reuniting to escape from city life, with no cellular reception and only Wi-Fi in the cottages, you can be sure to reconnect with nature, family and loved ones. The farm features 7- Pet friendly cottages and cabins (5 which are fenced off), each fully equipped for a homely self-catering experience . Decorated in a unique style of rustic elegance and charm with cozy indoor fireplaces as well as private external braai areas and a complimentary wood stock for your first night’s stay, fully furnished and equipped for a homely self-catering experience. We can accommodate a total of 28 Guests. Explore the farm on foot or Bicycle and take some time to appreciate the captivating beauty of your surroundings. Get out the sunscreen, put on some walking shoes and discover our wattle walk through the woods and some secret trails throughout the farm. Enjoy fishing in our well stocked Trout dam or Bass Pond or strike a few Golf balls on our Driving range. Settle down to an evening under the starts in complete serenity around the fire and wake to a cup of Coffee on the stoep watching the sun rise. Our Chapel doors are open for those that would like a private moment and a prayer.

Rainbow is ideal for a family or group – it has 4 bedrooms (2 Double beds, 1x Queen and 1x King with two Bunks on the staircases landing, 2 Bathrooms and Large Kitchen, Living and Patio area overlooking our Bass pond and Mountain Range.

Golden Cottage has a Queen size Post Bed, bathroom with shower, equipped kitchenette with gas stove, Microwave and Fridge/Freezer. Known to be our romantic Cottage. Snuggle near the indoor fireplace, or laze on the grass patch overlooking our pond.

Brown Cabin is a larger cabin and can sleep up to four people. The cabin has a Queen bed in the bedroom and two single roller beds in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped and the lounge area boasts a lovely Dover stove with private patio/BBQ,

This cabin has a double bed, bathroom en-suite with shower. The kitchen is well equipped with gas stove, microwave etc. The private patio is equipped with a portable braai overlooking our Trout Dam and is fenced off with private garden.
