Look down across the farm dam which is covered from July till December with "waterblommetjies" - a fragrant water flower which is a delicacy of the Overberg. Rouxwil is perfectly positioned in the middle of nowhere. We say "perfectly" because nowhere just happens to be in the middle of everywhere. You couldn't wish for a better, more relaxing base from which to explore the Overberg region, with Hermanus, the Winelands, Greyton and Cape Agulhas all less than an hour away. This enables you to take wonderful day trips, returning to Rouxwil in time for sun-downers and snacks on your personal veranda while looking out on the Eland and Spring buck grazing in the plains game camp.
